Pick a Pitch 2022!
Pick a Pitch is back! The last time we held this event “pitchers” sang to us, read poetry, plastered themselves with signs…and was that a lion costume? All pleading to the audience to choose their community project as the most worthy to take home the cash prize.
No long-winded speeches here. Up to 10 local charitable organizations have just 60 seconds on the podium to win over the audience. They each tell us about their organization and a project that would just be great for the community if it had the funding. Your $20 event ticket gets you a fun evening and a ballot. Half the gate revenue goes to the winning project, as voted on by the audience. And we’ll have other entertaining activities on the program that evening too.
